OUR STORY

Ethan and Peter Abrudeanu started out as apprentices in the spring of 2014 but quickly reached managing positions for two separate companies. Shortly after, the brothers decided to start a business together, and founded Broadleaf Hardwoods Co. in the fall of 2018. The company was started to provide a premium service founded on three core principles: integrity, quality, and communication. Their success and dedication to their craft caught the attention of Birger Juell Limited, and they were contracted to handle various prestigious projects. This exposure created the opportunity for Ethan and Peter to shift their vision and enter the bespoke world of hardwood flooring. While still under the age of thirty, the two brothers have been contracted by various architects, designers, and clients throughout the United States; published multiple times in industry magazines; received recognition in design magazines; and are currently being considered for a contract overseas. In the spring of 2020, Broadleaf was awarded its first Floor of the Year for their work on a project for Archetypal NYC.
